Where to Spend the Perfect Holidays in Hurghada

Actually you’ve got several options! Hurghada is famous for its semi-tropical-desert-like weather on the Red Sea, also close to the international airport while owns the best timings for travel in Autumn and Winter, for the sun is friendlier than ever. A popular destination on the Red Sea's coast, most likely recognized by its clusters of developments, organized hotels and touristic towns and modern attractions gathered in one place for comfort and extreme aquatic adventures. Here are some of the best places to travel to for holidays:

El Gouna

25 km away up north of Hurghada, El Gouna is near the international airport, covers 10 km over the coast of Marina and mostly known for its water sports beaches, El Gouna hosts more than 15 hotels and resorts, offering all types of accommodation levels from marina inns, to boutique hotels and finally to the luxury five-star resorts. Most people call it, the Venice of Egypt as it’s a privately owned town made up of few islands that are connected through bridges and roads.

El Gouna’s number one must do, discovery orientation by boat

It is a huge development that calls out for classy people and luxurious hotels for accommodation. 14 hotels and 3 marinas, Abu Tig Marina witness incredible yachts, 2200 private villas and apartments.

A Gene Bates and Fred Couples designed, 18-hole golf course in front a beautiful provoking view across the Red Sea and an aqua driving range. Apart from golfing, there are also horse stables, watersports centers, shopping arcades, and finest selection of restaurants, it is a fully prepared private vivid city that already speaks life all year round, even it has its own private radio station!

Sahl Hasheesh

20 km down to the south, Sahl Hasheesh is quite new, which originally in Arabic means, “a plain of grass”. Sahl Hashesh spreads over a 41 million meters square, ⅔ the size of Manhattan Island. Considered as one of the grandest and newest towns on the coast of the Red Sea with several echoing luxury hotels, while rather lots are still, under development, to this day, into clusters of hotels and huge hospitality measures in the nearest future. Looks like a perfect honeymooners spot at the quiet unwinding lifestyle of Sahl Hasheesh, while the new Old Town of Sahl Hasheesh is opening soon as the top place for entertainment a complex of restaurants, cafes, shops, clubs and spas.

Soma Bay

Little have we known about Soma Bay, but just 240 km away from Luxor, where day trips could be planned and organised simply from your hotel or place of accommodation to go visit The Valley of Kings, Karnak and Luxor temples, Soma Bay has been infra-structured upon the state-of-the-art  ecology of the peninsula right below Hurghada on the map, in preservation of the environment, thus all developments are within the peace of nature over there. Considered as one of the top water sports station for weather is beautiful 365 days a year, the wind surfers, kite surfers and divers really have their original plans fulfilled at Soma Bay.  It also owns one of the top golf courses called “the Cascades” and one of the top Spas in town.

Makadi Bay

Right under Sahl Hasheesh on the map of the Red Sea, Makadi Bay has a very peculiar location perspective in between desert mountains and the Red Sea shore. Owns a couple of luxury mass five-star hotels with a less entertained lifestyle for a vacation. Its the perfect sandy beach holidays on turquoise blue waters.

Hurghada Marina

Hurghada Marina is an entertaining boulevard that is located in Sekkala in Hurghada. There are even lots of hotels who offer shuttle buses to the Marina as a nightlife destination. Gladly, lots of shops, cafes and restaurants provide lots of chilling out selections. The marina hosts lots of yachts and boats at their ports.

Those are just some of the highlights. There’s always a list of good hotels in Hurghada and the Red Sea surrounding. The best of Hurghada that it has great prices in terms of shopping, entertainment and holiday vacations; another best thing about it, is that it’s always full of action and life.
